NFL Draft Projection - 5th or 6th Round

His stats are incredible, with a reduced 2020 season it makes you wonder what his final stats would've been in a normal year. He averaged 7.6 yards per carry this season, in just 6 games he had 19 touchdowns and completed his 3rd straight 1000 yard season. I'll let the tape talk for itself below, but a few of the reasons why he is likely a late round pick, is due to him being a little undersized and how much of a role did running behind a strong Buffalo offensive line and the level of competition they faced in the MAC conference.

Roll The Tape

I love this snippet, his cuts are so sharp and an area of strength. In this video he cuts and side steps his way into space. Almost exhibition stuff

I love a patient back who waits for an opening. He does that here, but once again uses his cut to get away from trouble and bounce outside for another big gain.

Good level of patience and vision on this play, also despite being a little undersized he doesn't shy away from contact

Cut and go, no I don't mean your local hairdressers. He does lack top end speed but he does still possess decent burst and enough speed to breakout like this example

Splash Play Alert

Cut, side step and away he goes. he has a natural feel for where the pressure is. Quite of a lot of his runs he seems to have a nose for where the gap is.
